Hello and thank you for considering TradingOnramp.com to be your trusted trading community and coach as you take the next steps in your trading journey. Trading is an amazing opportunity and we are excited to share it with you.
Step 1. – Book A Call
We have found over the years that speaking one on one with our customers and community members is the best way to impart our knowledge, expertise and commitment and to build trust with you along the way.
Step 2. Purchase A Strategy
Once you have completed your initial call, you can purchase one of our strategy packages. The strategy packages include important details about each specific strategy, software setup, links and instructions, training and education.
Step 3. Open A TradingView Account – All of our custom indicators and strategies run on top of TradingView and so this is a critical first step. You are more than welcome to open your TradingView account before you call us, if you wish. Our indicators require the “Pro Plan” on TradingView or a higher plan level. Here are all of their plans.
Step 4. Open A Demo & Live Broker Account – In order to practice trading and to eventually trade live with real money, you will need a brokerage account for “demo” and “live” training. For simplicity, we recommend setting up an Oanda account through Oanda Hub. You may of course choose any brokerage that is supported by TradingView.
Step 5. Schedule Onboarding Appointment – Once you have all the requisite accounts opened, we will work with you one-on-one to load your strategies and indicators onto Tradingview and connect with your brokerage. This is typically a 30 minute zoom call with remote access to your computer to speed the installation process.
Step 6. Watch the Training Materials – Inside your strategy package, you will find links to videos, blog posts, articles and other training materials to guide you towards a better understanding of the strategies, indicators and mindsets required to become a profitable trader.
Step 7. Work with A Coach – We offer various levels of coaching, either one-on-one or in group trainings and courses. Working with a professional, profitable trading coach who has been trading for years can literally save you a lifetime of learning in a 30 minute call.
Step 8. Trade In Demo Mode – We not only recommend, but we insist that all students start in demo mode before ever trading live. Through our coaching and instructional materials, we will guide you how to backtest your strategy, test it manually on historical data and how to trade it live with a demo account. All of these steps are essential to your foundational knowledge and are a critical first step in your journey.
Step 9. Live Trading & Funding – We will only seriously discuss live trading & funding with students who have demonstrated mastery in the strategies and training we have guided them through. Please speak to your coach directly if you feel like you have reached this step and we would be glad to discuss it further with you.
